A Final Word

In this column we presented Part II of our series on object-oriented programming with JavaScript. We focused on method definition. We showed you three different ways to define methods, and explained the pitfalls in using the constructor function. We taught you how to distinguish between private and public data elements, and how to protect private data elements from being shared between subclasses.
