A Final Word

In this column we introduced how to write Windows forms with JScript .NET. We showed you five capabilities that can be built with Windows forms: anchoring, docking windows, event handling of Click events, redefinition of the OnMouseUp event handler, and menu generation. We showed you how to structure a Windows form application, and how to define its controls: buttons, labels, text boxes, panels, and menus. We taught you how to anchor controls and panels to their containing panel, how to create borders around panels, how to add an event handler to a control, and how to pop up message boxes.
